- Brahmadeva. Brahmā, the ruler of this world. India. (sa) brahmaloka, the eighteen heavens of the realm of form, divided into four (sa) dhyāna regions (sixteen heavens in Southern Buddhism). The first three contain the 梵衆天 assembly of (sa) brahmadevas, i.e. the (sa) brahmakāyika; the 梵輔天 (sa) brahmspurohitas, retinue of Brahmā; and 大梵天 Mahābrahman, Brahman himself.
